School for Owen

Todd started work in January so in December we started a hunt for daycare for Owen. I am fortunate to have a lot of daycare ST visits so I had a pretty good idea of what places were good. My most favorite was Noah's Ark. I have been doing ST visits there twice a week for the past year and I love the staff so much!  When I mentioned that we were looking for a daycare, they said they would love to have him come. It has definitely been a tough transition, with lots of crying when we had to say goodbye each day, but within just a few minutes, he is happy and playing with his friends. I couldn't ask for a better place for him. They do preschool every day and have been really supportive of Owen using Monkey and his pacifier outside of nap time if he needs them. They go to Mobius every week and The Music Man and Stretch and Grow come to them. I wish we could be home with him, but I couldn't ask for a better place for him to be. I know that they are taking good care of him and he is learning so much!

Snow Baby

Of course Owen loves outside, but this was his first year where he was really aware of the snow and outside in it. We bought him a snowsuit and boots and at first, he didn't want to be out for more than a few minutes, but it only took a few days before he found out how much fun you could have outside in the snow!
