All things Owen

Things I am loving right now as he continues to grow up...

• favorite words - 'I do it' , 'me', 'mine'; he is always telling us 'stop' or 'stay' if we try to help, so that he can do things himself
• my two favorite words of his currently - 'delicious' and 'everywhere' - today when we were outside playing with bubbles he kept saying, 'look bubbles everywhere' too cute
• he says 'I love you' now by himself. At night after books and prayers, we rock in the chair for a few minutes for a 'snug' and I always say, 'I love you, I'm glad I'm your mama' and tonight he said 'I love you, Mommy' - insert heart melting :)
• picking up phrases from his books and songs he likes so he will suddenly be reading with me or singing with me, too cute
• totally into 'working' with Todd's tools
• spring is coming and more outside time with friends! As soon as we drive onto our street, he is asking where Josh, Cam, and Shiloh are!

Easter 2013

We attempted whipped cream Easter eggs with food coloring; a Pinterest fail as they say :) I was technically supposed to use shaving cream, but I was pretty sure Owen would be more into eating it than anything. And he was - the eggs turned out camo-green on the outside and it was so much fun to do! We were at Todd's parents for Easter and Monica set up an outside night time Easter egg hunt. Owen had so much fun tearing around outside with his flashlight that he didn't even really care about the eggs!
