Christmas is here!

On Christmas morning, Owen quietly got out of his room and went downstairs, popped his head over the edge of the railing and said to Grammy, 'Did Santa come?'. She said it was such a sweet moment seeing his little face over the edge of the railing :) We heard his voice, so grabbed Emmy and headed downstairs. Owen helped Emmy open all of her gifts,

Grammie went to Joneel's the day after Christmas and then headed home from there. She was with us for almost 8 weeks, so it was a big change. We feel really blessed that she was able to come and help us; a special time for Emmy and Owen to bond with her.

We spent the last week of vacation just relaxing at home, but one day went on a road trip with Meredith and the kids to Cle Elum to find snow. We met Monica and Andrew came too, grabbed some sleds, and went to the sledding hill. Emmy was not a fan, but Owen loved it! He has missed snow since we moved to Moses Lake and was so happy to be playing out in the snow again!

Countdown to Christmas

Emmy's ear infection either didn't clear or is back again, we are on a different medicine this time, Cefdinir, that will hopefully kick it. But, despite that, this girlie is walking since the first week of December! So officially walking by 9 months and she loves it! She is wobbly, but can follow Owen around the house and she is so happy, babbling away to him as he tears around in front of her/laps her :)
We went to Mobius in the first part of December and made the trip to Dr. Guzzardo. She confirmed that Owen has some pretty significant anxiety that needs to be addressed.  We stopped in for a visit to his old daycare and he was super excited to see all his buddies.
